Coming death of the seven-day newspaper

The Nieman Foundation at Harvard is looking at the probable future of newspapers and it isn’t pretty.

We are the future and that should scare you.

Essentially, they say the seven-day a week newspaper is headed out the door, to be replaced with a printed edition maybe 2-3 days a week, with the other days on the Internet only.

In fact, some have already taken that step.

It’s a lengthy article but is worthwhile reading if you’re one of those that likes the newspaper instead of a net-paper.
