Our occasional look at political correctness run amok.
Parts of the Internet are all riled up over a tea kettle.
On the freeway near Culver City, California there’s a billboard from JC Penny.
Some folks says it’s advertising … Adolf Hitler.
Take a look for yourself.
We suppose one could think that if they squint real hard or have 20/400 vision along with a vivid imagination.
Either way, they shouldn’t be driving.
The kettle in question – the Michael Graves Design Bells and Whistles Stainless Steel Tea Kettle – also appears on the department store’s website.
When we have enough Yukon Jack we’ve been known to see pink elephants.
Which makes as much sense as seeing Hitler in a tea pot.
UPDATE: JC Penny sold out the tea kettle in 24 hours. Make of that what you will.
