Politicians running for office (and those already in it) want to control the press.
Some say because it’s hard to get their message out.
Others say the media twists what they say.
And a few are just terrible before the cameras.

When a reporter requests an interview, she makes them fill out a multi-page form with a list of the reporter’s questions, if anyone already has been interviewed, who else will be interviewed, what the other sources said to the reporter and if she can use visuals.
She says it’s so she can be prepared as possible when the media comes looking for answers.
We say it’s because she has no idea what to say without some prep from her handlers.
